Hi there Krishnaa! I tested your program, and is the objective to prevent the user from using a screen-capturing program to capture that tiger image etc.?

If it is, then.....it's crazy! I seem to be able to bypass the protection, if any!

I mean, I fire up my screen capturing tool, click 1 button and that entire tiger image and everything is captured.
I dunno if this is what you want, though.

But I learnt something new : U've a serious fetish for tigers.

    From Krishnaa:
Dont worry Xeon , I need your help when digilox for win9x complets.
    You're welcomed, Anytime, anywhere!

By the way why dont you go for windows 2000 or Xp , my personal exp. says these 2 are best OS built soever.
If you have P3 then win 2k will dance nice for you.
Well! Since I've a P4, I gotta go for LongHorn then!
Well, Windows 98 is really nice, and I know 2000 and XP are nice too, but I don't really trust XP, because if you do all your programming on XP, the program can have tons of OS-specific bugs when you run it on OSes prior to XP.
The code base in XP also seems to be vastly different compared to 2000 and 98.(although the GUI is mostly the same)

And CONGRATS for your 4000 + posts. Now you r one of the most senier baby in house of codeguru's.
Yes, I'm one of the most senoir, man! Even more senoir than Brad and Gabriel!(in total number of posts)
But really.....in Codeguru, someone who has 4000++ posts IS an expert.
I'm currently 7th outta the Top 20 Posters, but the top 6 are all experts! VGirish, Alex Fedotov, Sam Hobbs are all good examples! I'm the only one who's a beginner although I've 4000++ posts! How ironic!

Well I think you have got time , why dont you spend new year seriously instead of running behind gurlz ?
Get some books on Win32 and Widows concept ,forget Doc/View for begining and go on.Do practise and keep reading Articles , books and codeguru forums. You will be top expert also. Raise the confidenace man !

Yes, yes. Next year,......2003 will be a very interesting year for me. Lots of software to code and things to learn.
I guess I'll have to cut down time on gurls, though.

And nah! I seriously doubt I will ever reach that level of Yves or Gabriel. U see, some programmers who code in programming languages and such do so because it allows you to express your creativity in a special and unique way. Some are in it because their jobs require them to.(like AIO from the VB forums)

In my case, I belong to the first case. It's a kind of special and fun job, but because I'm more interested in the finished piece and results, I really should open a small shop and sell software sometime, perhaps.(which is darn nice)

I'm not that interested in mathematics or science or algorithms, and those low-level stuff and complex like STL actually make me mad. That's why.

Have a nice day and see you, Krishnaa!

    No boy !,
Everybody can reach the topmost position. You dont have confidence enough now.But see just because of this diff. some of us are on top and many are at bottom.

It's too hard to go through this transition , if you want to change yourself.

You might have seen some incidants in life that at some age or time you use to frighten to do some things like sports games , but now you can do it or you have confidance to do that.
Software writing is very similar to that. If you dont help your self then you will take lot many years to become a good programmer. And if you made yourself serious about this and started separating yourself from other things ,and started practising, reading for enough amount of time every day , then you will run closer to toppers , and one day you will be the Top.

I not only believe this theory , but use to live in it.

    Ramkrishna Pawar

Thanks Krishnaa! Simon the Fool can really learn some manners and gentlemanliness from you. Hear this, Simon?!

Yes, right. But really, I'm always kind wary of programming and computers, cos' I'm scared they can turn you into a geek and the gurls will be running away from you. That's why!
If that happens, my world will be dark.

I am not asking for the source code but at least at the conceptual level. I was looking out for a to prevent any kind of screen capturing while my application is running. Can you provide some ideas?

    thanks

Krishnaa's way of preventing screenshots, will have commercial value to him if it can successfully prevent pirates from capturing the screenshots of the movies from HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, running on PC.

I am sorry, I had to pull this off as the product technology was patented, legally I can not discuss it.
