Non-English Web Pages...
Greetings,
Can anyone suggest me how to write non-english web pages...I am trying to make web pages in Asian languages...
Is it possible without using non-standard fonts...That is by onlu specifying the <!doctype ...> as something else instead of EN
and how does one use the <link ref="fontdef" ...> to achieve the same effect...
and how cross browser compatable are these methods..
Thanks

Of course you can, but what kind of language are you trying to use to create your own web page?

Do you know any existing hini or sanskrit page on the web?
If yes, just take a look at the source code to see the methods used and how they manage the fonts.
