I am sorry to disappoint you, Xeon
This is a reply to A perfect storage solution for an application's data in which Xeon says to "Get Bush outta office and get a better President!".
I am sorry to disappoint you, Xeon, but I think if I were president that I would do the same thing. Well, at least nearly the same thing.
I am anxiously waiting to hear what the President knows that we don't know. I assume there is a lot more that the President knows that he cannot tell most people in the world. There is probably at least one informant that seriously fears death. We all know that Saddam Hussein will kill an informant (even his own son) immediately as soon as he learns a person is disloyal. If he did not kill an informant immediately then he would torture them first. Right?
So I assume there are some very scary secrets that Bush knows about that he cannot tell us because if he did then Saddam Hussein would know who the imformant is. If I am wrong then I probably agree that our governemnt is making a big mistake. Since there are so few other government members speaking out against the war I assume there is sufficient reason to do what our government is doing. It is not just Bush.
The day will probably come soon when the world will thank the leaders of the United States and other countries for having done what is beihng done. If so then there are many very scary secrets that we have not yet been told.
I hope the words I use here are strong enough that they do not need any fancy formatting and colors and such.

I think XeOn was being humorous...I would think so, given XeOn's previous (is it thousands?) posts. Some of us use sarcasam or humor...so lets not take things to heart

I should also add that I really do hope that the American (my) government and it's allies are doing the right thing. I hope that the good people of Iraq and it's neighbors will be grateful for liberating them. I am hopeful that by removing tyrany in Iraq that good people in that country and other countries in the world will prevail. There are governments in Iran, Korea, China and other places that will be weakend also and the good people will be strengthened. I am quite optimistic that the world will be a much better place without Saddam Hussein.

I am probably not taking him as seriously as you might think. However if I am overreacting then it is good to have you to keep things balanced.
This war and such is certainly something to be serious about. Xeon is often humorous but this war is not something to be humorous about.
It is frustrating for me that so many people are against the war but part of my frustration is because I understand that people are justified in questioning the war. It is also frustrating that people are so quick to assume that Bush is wrong. It is also frustrating that people are so quick to criticize them, since they have reason to question the war.
Again, I sincerely hope there will soon be a day when the world realizes that the world will be a better palce for what is being done.

I support my troops...I don't support Bush...Your right, egg is going to be wiped off the face world wide, but then it just might be some conspiracy...just my opinion, I'd say I could be wrong, but well that's not likely

My! So, you're one of those who supports Bush!

Yes, right...Mick!
That was just a casual remark.

Actually, according to the news, more troops have die of friendly fire than anything! At least tens of Iraqi civilians are dying day by day from the war, and that's really sad, though!
There's this picture of a Iraqi child who's legs are in blood and the bone is exposed cos' of the blast by a US bomb, if I remember.
These children are crying for a lost mom or dad who die in the war and they feel so lost and alone.
Besides, on the US side, I'm sure the families of these soldiers are really sad too. Imagine seeing their sons bodies being "advertised" on Iraqi shows and.....ugh! More than that.
One mom has even pleaded with Bush to help her find her son's body, but given Bush's character......aye~! The mom might well as eat chicken chop instead.
The worse thing is : if this war drags on for months......you can imagine how many more Iraqi people are gonna die, which is logically more than the number Saddam usually kills for a past-time.
However, on the other hand, once the US succeeds in bringing joy to Iraq, the future generations of the Iraqi people(hopefully) will be much much better, that's for sure. But if the Iraqi resistance is so strong that Bush and his troops are tried of going on anymore and he stops just there, then everything is gonna be a total waste and go down the drain.
I guess since the war has started and so many civilians has been killed, the war might well as go all the way to the end to bring much awaited joy and happiness to Iraq. Of course, if Bush and his gang is after this main aim and not oil, then I would love him.
One more thing : does anyone know why the US has not used nuclear bombs on any one country after WW II?(the atomic bombs in Japan)
Is it because of costs? Human lives?Or can it bring about doomsday?!

Yes very sad. It is very unfortunate. There are many explanations for the deaths. I hope everyone knows that Iraqi troops are intentionally killing Iraqi troops that surrender or that won't fight for Iraq. I hope everyone also knows that the United States and our allies are doing the best they can to protect innocent Iraqis.

I hope you don't really believe that. Please don't even joke like that.

I hope this war will not drag on that long and I think it is very unlikely it will. I think our attack is proceeding quite close to the schedule the military specialists have decided upon. Note that the new moon occurs at 10:20 PM (Iraqi time) on April first. It is very likely that they intend to use that to their advantage and they seem to be quite on schedule for that.

Our government is commited. We will prevail.

If you suspect that Bush wants to capture Iraq to steal oil, then you misunderstand. Bush and our government and our allies want to liberate Iraq and provide them the ability to use their oil for their happiness. Of course we don't want a dictator to be in control that uses the world's dependence on oil to rule the world. It is definitely in our interest to prevent that. We also assume that a democratic and grateful Iraq (and neighboring countries) will be appreciative and that they will choose to show their appreciation in their sales of oil to us. But we should not make that a requirement; we should be able to trust that good people will do that just because it is the right thing to do. I think and hope that this war is occuring becuase it is the right thing to do.

I hope you were not srious about that one. I alreay told Bush could never fire nukes even if the Iraqi's use chemical/biological weapons. Using nukes would:
- Kill countless civilians showing that the US really does not intend to free the Iraqi people or is in any way concerned about them.
- Show to the rest of the world that the biggest threat as far as the use of WMD is concerned is George W. Bush, as the chemical weapons probably would kill only very little US soldiers as they have the best equipment for this kind of warfare, and as they probably would not be effective either due to the current weather situation. Making a biological weapon work on the battlefield is even to US experts considered as difficult.
- It certainly would upset the people in Saudi Arabia and lead to revolts throughout the Arab world, which would stop oil deliveries and soar oil prices to an economy destroying 80$ per barrel or more.
- Would piss muslims around the world making you hated and favorite target for countless terrorist attacks for pretty much the rest of the century.
- Could ensure North Korea does the same with desastrous consequences. Not to mention what would happen in Pakistan, you would not even want to think about that.

Of course I am not serious. If we use nukes even if twiddle uses his supposed WMD...I'll be right beside you in the die in's..
