Pricing .NET components?
OK - so the VB.Net printer monitor component is pretty much finished so I was wondering what kind of price is realistic to charge for this kind of thing?

Have you checked up www.activex.com -- for a listing of commercial controls available? I would suggest searching for similar directories of commercial components and guaging yourself how useful would your tool be for developers / how much would developers be willing to pay for it,etc.

There's an ActiveX control on ComponentSource for $175 that does pretty much what my .Net add-in does so I reckon I could price my yoke at about half that...once it's out of Beta test.

*Resolved* Pricing .NET components
PrintWatchComponent will set you back EUR 50 for a single developer license and EUR 350 for a site license (with source code). Thanks for your input..
