XP to Win2000
Hello
I have Windows XP Professional installed on my computer. I want to shift over to Windows 2000, but the problem is when i insert the Windows 2000 CD for installtion...........it exits the setup process....wht is the problem in moving down from XP to Windows 2000????
can anyone help me on this

Onw dirtiest solution is format the xp drive and start from scatch installing windows 2000.
reason might be because you are trying to install a lower version of windows so certainly you will be getting this kind of output.
but Did you try to install in the same directory or some other directory..
to have both on your machine,
first install windows 2000 in some drive say C, then install xp, but select another drive for that, so that you can have both the O.S and cans swich to any o.s while booting.
