I have the opposite problem, my application appears as a floating application on the desktop, but does not appear on the task bar?

I have show in task bar set to true, and visible set to true.
As an experiment I set showintaskbar to false but still not showing in the taskbar.

How can this be so?

I have packaged this for my user, does the package process have control over this.

It also works like this in my development environment?

Any idea on how to resolve this would be a great help.
